Thinking about going to Galveston, TX friday & saturday with some friends. What's it like down there? Nice beaches?

Galveston has the whitest sand in the world. It's a clean beach and everybody is very nice down there.

went to east beach 2 weeks ago had a good time. guy caught a 3ft shark 20 yds down from us while we were in the water. that was kinda funny.

Yea man, head down to Crystal Beach and you can pick up multiple 15-17 yr olds who will tell you that they are legal! If your lucky, you might be able to make a seaweed castle!!

Crystal Beach, haven't been to the Red Neck Riviera for a few years. nothing but trouble there.

Galveston is dirty. I always go to South Padre, which isn't the greatest but 1000x better that Galveston and Corpus Christi. I'm going to Padre for my birthday next week... only downfall is it's a longer drive.

We're only gonna be there friday & saturday night. Leaving out early friday and gotta be back kinda early sunday. We're gonna be a time schedule and I'm the one who wanted to go there instead of dallas.

Your gonna be disappointed if your looking to get in the water. I saw the news earlier and there is seaweed all over the beach.

i didn't see sea weed at east beach, crystal beach is usually covered, but i haven't been there in a few years

the road along the beach is pretty cool w/ t-tops off. if a bum looking guy offers you a best buy gift card for 5 dollars so he can call his wife thats in the hospital, dont do it
