lets say springs for instance.... the same company makes the springs.... chuck has some naggy *** customer in a hurry. dude wants comp 918's. chuck says ok.
well, come to find out chuck puts in another reputable shops beehive springs that are the EXACT SAME SPRING as the 918's and perform just as well and ARE THE SAME SPRING WITH A DIFFERENT NAME.
now lets say in your situation you listed chuck said hed sell me a HPE 408. well i get the thing and come to find out its a TSP 408 with the exact same internals as a HPE 408 because TSP and HPE use the same engine builder.
WHAT IS THE ******* DIFFERENCE?
granted he could have told the dude.... im not denying that. but from what ive seen the dude is a bitch and chuck didnt wanna deal with him whining. he wanted a happy customer with a car running to the exact caliber that the customer wanted.

1) Folks like to be kept apprised of changes if their car and parts.
2) When folks pick a cam, they picked the one they wanted, not the one that is like the one they wanted.
Had it been me, and was asked, I would have said okay, but had it been changed without asking me it would bother me.

How is that POS 408 working out for you? 119mph traps...yea you could have done that cam only and saved thousands.
