Default CheatR Cam in a 5.3

I have asked over on Performance trucks.net already. But the traffic over there is small compared to here on LS1Tech.

I am wanting to run this cam in my Truck that is my daily Driver & my wife drives it & I daily drive it. I want to retain my truck staying Quiet & being able to pass emission's & also want to pick up some top end & HP?

What are your thoughts?

Thanks guys
Seb

you will need a good converter to go with it, not to mention the tuning. does the truck have headers and non-stock exhaust?

I am having Nelson Performance do the work & tuning in San Antonio on Sep 3rd. If I run a converter I want to run the smallest converter possbile. I think they make a Yank 2600 Converter & I am thinking about doing the Pacesetter Longtubes with High Flow Y-Pipe w cats.

Yeah I go by SEB almost everywhere. I have my screen name here as SEB too. But I don't want to loose the post count.

As for the 220, I think the cam is going to be to big for me. I really want to run that cam. But my brain kicked in after I talked with my wife & she in all words said NO. She doesn't want the truck to be like my car with a lope. Thus the new idea of a CheatR cam.

ls6 cam/ls6 valvesprings
ls6 intake work?
tune

doesnt the cheatR cam have some high lift that would require bigger valvesprings?
