Unhappy Allstate declairs car a total loss, DO NOT USE MOMENTUM BMW IN HOUSTON TX

I got rearended on may 17, car was taken to momentum BMW in houston (allstate recommended). Momentum cut 1/4 of the car off and tried to piece another camaro on to it... they cut from under the driver seat all the way back. After notifiying Allstate of this they sent someone out and counted it as a total loss, due to the actions of Momentum BMW. The car was repairable before those idiots got a hold of it. I got hit by someone who didnt have insurance, a license and it was a hit and run. The guy was chased by civilians and the cops caught up to him 30 mins later and gave him a ticket for no license, he gave false insurance information. Illegal immigrants, lazy cops, and shitty body repair shops destroyed my dream car. On a good note my wife wants me to get an 09 SS. Ill try and post picks before and after accident and repair work.
The car had 36k and was in mint condition before the accident.

First off you fucked up when you took it to the Allstate recommended repair facility. Im not sure if you know this or not, but you have the right by law to have your car fixed where you want it to get fixed. As far as the hack repair job, it is common practice to repair a unibody type car in that fashion, but they dont look like they had a clue as where to start.

Looks like Momentum owes you a new car, since it wasn't firued up as a total loss until after they got hold of it. I'd sue the ever living **** out of them.

Im pretty sure with a finder that bad, that is the only way to fix it, by replacing the whole finder.

i don't think anyone doubts that, it's the complete hack job they did. They totaled a fixable car.

my quarter got totalled out like that too, fortunately I took it to a body shop that is owned by a friend of my dads. They did great work and I get to pick it up today. Whoever got sawzall happy needs to get their nuts sawzalled. That makes me sick and its not even my car. hopefully they pay out big.

Actually that is one way to do it. I have sectioned a couple cars. Biggest mistake is taking the car to a BMW dealership.
