Just because some idiot paid a few grand more for it doesnt mean that they are increasing in value, one of my friends is car retarded and bought a 1999 with 70,000 miles for 13,000 all ragged out with busted window motors. Not a price increase, but just a newer crowd to the ls1.

I donno about that, I was at my old mans dealership the other day and they gave 10.5 for a 70k 02 SS. Bitch was clean and completely stock.

anyways.. i see your point about the prices. i started looking for a low mileage ls1 almost a year ago. i had a specific price, 6 speed, options etc..in mind and color as well. I live in houston but was willing to ship it in. i had about 3 or 4 deals that fell through or the cars were misrepresented. i finally bought an 02 ss with 40k mi for 15.5. i felt like it was a fair deal. i was looking at it as opposed to say a new car or truck because my previous auto had crapped the bed. i put about 2500 down and my note is about 350 a month (36 mos). when i first started i thought i coulda got one for 12k max, but dude those were not to be found. adios haha

I had a drig dealer looking gentleman of hispanic decent driving a escalade on 24s all thugged out looking offer me 7,500 for my 89 at one time, gave him my number and he never called me back.
