Why were the seats misrepresented and the guy just happened to need all the money up front? Why did he raise the price after they didn't sell the first time when he PM'd Jeremy?

Drag you were supposed to bring cash when you picked them up for one. Number 2 you took possesion of them so they are yours.

As for you Deer hunter, no i AM NOT DRUNK BUT seeing this post and who its from is just a waste of bandwidth. He should have looked at the seats before he put them in his truck. I dont sell parts without the money upfront why should someone else. Hell Drag tries to sell his overpriced junk and he wants his money upfront. The offer was made to return the seats back where he picked them up and he would get his money back. There is a resolution Drag just wants everything for nothing.

MADMAN, I did notice some of the flaws when I went to go pick them up. When I got them home, that's when I really got a chance to look at them carefully. Parker TX stated that he didn't know of any of these flaws, but that's BS because they're so obvious. You don't need 20/20 vision and a magnifying glass to see the flaws.

I took them because I paid this guy through Paypal and if I wasn't happy with them and left them there, went back home, PMed him stating I wanted my money back, and he refused...guess what, I am screwed. Then I would have no choice but to drive another 120 miles, using my time and fuel to get them.

If I had dealt with him in person without any middle men, then I would have brough cash, saw them, offered him a lower price, if he agreed, then it would have been a done deal. If he didn't take my offer, well then I just would pass it up and look elsewhere.

2 SLOW, the seats were definitely misrepresented, period. As a honest and courteous seller, he should have let me be aware of any flaws, despite if it could cost him the sale or shy me away. It was also wrong that he posted a price viewable to everyone, but raised it for me, more than likely because its me.

DeerHunter_Z28, no he just has it out for me and talks **** about me every chance he gets. We obviously had issues in the past, but that's a whole other story. I knew there was going to be someone that came in here talking **** about me, but I didn't figure it would be him.

MADMAN, again, if the sale was setup correctly, then believe me, I would have brought cash. It was a weird situation. Its not like I can say I'm going over there to pick them up and if I don't like them, I'll ask them for your phone number, call you up, make you an offer, if you accept, I'll ask to go inside their house to use the internet to Paypal him.

Yes, I took possession of them, but I also payed him beforehand, taking his word on the condition. I settled to keep them because they're better than what my friend has in his car now and I am not willing to drive all the way back over there to get my money back. I don't mind keeping them because I can fix most of it, but I'm entitled to money back.

As far as your reply to DeerHunter_Z28, you just need to grow up, leave **** in the past, and move on.

Dragaholic - Jeremy, just like MADMAN mentioned, you did not have to take these seats when you handed over money for them. Nobody had a gun to your head and forced you to take them and fork over the cash for them.

And its ironic how everybody complains you sell parts for too much, is it karma?

Also, I paid alot more for T/A seats when I drove all the way to Bedford (DFW) and bought mine. I paid $450 for them, drove there, and they needed a little TLC.

Peace,
Craig.

*Edited - I forgot you mentioned you already paid him paypal, my bad there. But you did mention he offered a full refund. You should've called him upon inspection of the seats when they were delivered.

Peace,
Craig.

I think we can all see those seats are pretty crappy. If he is a "stand-up" guy, Parker TX will refund the $150 when he sees this.

I think Drag did the right thing by taking the seats and trying to solve this issue with Parker Tx rather than with the guy's roomate's parents. WTF would have been the point in that?

I bet he wouldnt have done that to someone local.

CRAGER, as mentioned, if I had drove 120 miles, decided that I didn't want them, drove back home, PMed him, telling him I wanted my money back, and he decided not to refund my money, then guess what...I'm **** out of luck. I would then have no choice but to go back and get them.

No one forced me to do anything, but I wasn't going to be out of $350 and a set of seats.

Is every post I make here on this site always going to go back to my parts for sale, my god. Leave it alone already.

T/A seats tend to sell for more than Camaro seats because they have the lumbar. Sure, it was posted that it was pickup only and I had no control over how far I was away from the seats. I'm not asking for reimbursment for my time and fuel, but for the misrepresented seats.

You paid $100 more than what I paid for these seats. They came out of a '95, what year did yours come out of? They're not worth $350.

To add to that, I was taken advantage of being that he listed them for $300 and they didn't sell, but since I had forgotten about his post, he tacked on another $50.

Sure, I should have called him, but I didn't have his number. Plus, it wouldn't have matter, I already Paypaled him.

No, he didn't offer me a full refund. I Paypaled him $350, he agreed to give me $339.55 which is $10.45 less than what I gave him. That's not a FULL refund. I would then have to drive them back to him. That's BS!

I stated I would keep them because I can fix everything but the tears, but I would need money back.

Parker TX, you know what you did was wrong, no doubt. You already made yourself present here in this thread, why do you just give me the money I'm asking for back?

I disagree completely Ross. He accepted/took the seats, therefore they belong to him now. He should have declined them when he picked them up, and then called Parker for a refund or maybe haggled the price down later. Accepting the item means YOU OWN IT. You don't take an item ransom and then bitch about not getting a discount after the fact.

Jeramy is bitching about driving from Alvin to Spring, when Parker arranged for these to be driven from DALLAS to Houston for free? COME ON. That is highly gay. Get off your lazy *** and RETURN the seats Jeramy. Parker already offered you a full refund. YOU could have saved the mileage if you wouldn't have accepted them in the first place. You should know better to accept and take home something you disagreed with, so don't bitch if you have to drive your *** back up there to return them now.
