Default Check That Opti Spark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After a new timing chain, ingnition coil and module and coutless hours taking and retaking the balancer, A.I.R. pump, water pump off the car; I found the solution to the mysterious run stop run...... The rotor screws had backed off and where rattling around in the Opti-Spark. I cant believe it ever ran. Needless to say the screws and everytjing else got a more than adequate helping of Locktite.

what were the symptoms of this... can you explain more on the run-stop-run????

my car has been acting weird ever since i drove my car through some puddles of water.... It runs fine on initial start, but if i turn it off and turn it back on in a short period of time, it backfires, pops, etc.... All i do is turn it off and turn it right back on.... and most of the time it works fine, like nothing happened.....

Mine was about to fall off, i pulled it apart while i was doing a head swap and one screw was sitting in the bottom of the cap, the other was ****** *** loose. Needless to say the opti was junk anyways.

Yeah I was rolling down the street and as I recall the bolts holding the optical wheel came loose in the middle of the street ! Joe, I found my other problem it looks like a bolt backed off the crank hub causing it to wobble. I'm probably going to tackle it this Friday in order to see if I can get someone to rethread the holes...
