has anybody ever made a "Claim" on their insurance?
i have a couple dings and would like to get the car repainted. i haven't made a claim in over 6 years. do i have to have an accident or what?

if for some odd reason my car got beat up (roof)? would it be covered then? replacing the roof that is?

yes, but what do you mean by stereo? like just the factory cd palyer or a cd player, or an entire system, i.e speakers amps, etc----if it is just the cd player, then you can go under your comprehensive coverages, and again, just make sure your cd palyer is worth more than your deductible....as for a system it depends on your insurance carrier, but in most cases you may have to file under your renters or homeowners insurance, since theses are things that did not come with the vehicle from factory, and are considered personal property items...
