I know you posted here https://ls1tech.com/forums/texas-members/787519-k-dale-tonight.html that you were driving your friends cobra. I "ran into" an 04 Cobra with a paper plate in the bedford area that Sunday. I was hoping it was you because your buddies in the vette behind us recorded everything and I was hoping to see those vids.

Actually, I took the first race. Didn't realize I had the traction control on, had time to let off, turn off the traction control, and get back into it. The second run did get too slippery and I had to let off; all motor by the way Zac. Yeah I know my tires suck, they are the sumitomo htrz's. Don't have any vids of my car so I was just wanting to see them. Cant see the vid here at work, but there should be two races on there. And for you Ford guys, still spanking pulley Cobras on motor and street tires left and right.

Yeah they were some good runs, I dont know why I even try with those tires though. The bigger things done are the cam, ls6 intake, and duals. Other thing are small bolt on stuff: lid, slp ram air kit, BMR torque arm, lower control arms, and panhard bar. Im prob forgetting a few small things. The car still needs a lot of tuning, dont know if that or the tires are next.
Thanks for the runs and vid.

You didnt see the first run, just got a little too throttle happy on the launch on this one. And, I doubt stock cobras throw 510 rwtq. Cool though, I ran what i had, everyone takes their losses. That run didnt even go 1/16 of a mile before I let off.

hard to tell the width from the video, but I have those same tires in 315 currently, and they still suck. I got those because I have to drive on the hwy alot (used to) and the nittos DRs were too expensive. But I will be buying nittos again next time. There is no point to cheap out on tires, you are just wasting your power.
