i used a die grinder with a cut off disc.
Its REALLY very simple. Just remove the springs and cut the coils from the top on the rear and from the bottom on the front.
If you've never swapped out springs\ before then don't try it. Or find someone who has to help you.

Yes the car doesn't corner like its on rails like it did with the LG springs, but it does ride ALOT better and thats what i wanted. And free to boot.
If you think i'm "obviously more into looky-looky ..than performance" you should do a search under my screen name to see the last car i had.

I don't see why everybody is so against cut springs. All cutting them does is make the spring shorter and a little stiffer. THATS IT! I do agree that heating up the spring to lower it is a no no. But there is nothing wrong with cutting springs.

Yup this is my daily, get me to work car. Cut stock springs are not too rough like all the other lowering springs out there and since i don't road race my car i don't need it to handle like its on rails. stock or slightly better than stock handling is cool with me.

Mine is a DD too, and I've running on B+G's so I totally understand you wanting softer springs. I seriously thought about cutting the stockers myself. The only people I have heard say anything bad about them are the ones selling the parts and the ones who have never tried it. The people who have cut them seem to like them.
I decided against it though because I want more rate. I like the handling of stiffer springs plus I do put people in the back seat and don't like to hear tires rubbing. I'm acutally looking to raise mine up a half inch since the road to my house is jacked up from the trucks going to gas wells and the houses being built. That said, I have to change strut mounts on the wife's GA so while I have it apart, I may cut the springs a little to bring it down some.
In the future if you want better handling, then larger swaybars will set you up with out affecting the ride quality.
