Juan what did you use to cut through th spring ? Got any pics of the cut spring ?

 

prolly a grinder with a cutting blade i used a sawsal and dulled the blade quick...

 

The better handling that you are claiming is due to a lower CG. Cutting a progressive rate spring will do nothing but reduce the lower or higher (depending in which side you cut) spring rate portion. Deleting more of the higher rated side of the spring will result in a soft spring, and more work put on the dampening (struts or shocks) system of the suspension. Deleting more of the lower spring rate portion will result in an overall stiffer spring which will maintain less contact with the road surface. Suspension companies spend on crazy amounts of money on R&D for a reason.
