Damn yuppies and their Porsches Some dousche pulls up to me in his new Carrera with his hott gf and gives me this face like im a jackass and kinda laughs..oviously towards me, we were goin about 25 or so and he proceedes to take off, AFTER my tranny finds a reason to stop slipping and I get traction I go right by him. The best part of these situations is not that i won; but the dumbass look on his face and the smile on his gfs...dont get me wrong i know tons of Porsches will hand me my ***, but people like that make me appreciate my car so much more

There are douche bags in every type of car. It was good you layed the smack down on him that he deserved! I really hate when people think they are the baddest thing on the road. Always good to set them straight!

I have run up against alot of porsche's, and the only so far that has gotten me has been this guy in Rowlett, TX
He is in a new 911 Turbo. IT is ******* insane looking car.
I think they are rated at like 500 some horses.. Havent looked it up yet, but that is the only porsche I have raced that handed me my ***.
and then slowed down to see if I wanted to do it again... I was like... Umm, what watch his rear again...
most of the base 911's and stupid boxsters.. I can crush them pretty dam good. Got some video of doing so @ Ennis....
WOW, so he has this car in Silver. I did not know they were 460HP...

Some are slow, others are really fast. Sucks you ran across someone with no class like that. At first I was opening this thinking it was someone Powell had raced LOL!

the website you linked states 480HP/460TQ, not 460HP....just for clarification

Well hell, I'd rather spend $29k on a WS6 and throw in about 15k of mods to beat a $100k porsch anyday. It reeks for them that we only have to spend half of much to beat what costs them twice as much to beat us. I dont have Porsche envy, I just dont like snobby attitudes either and would lay a little money down to see an ls1 beat cars like that anyday on a regular road.

ok then, while we're splitting hairs.....a C6 Z06 is an LS7, not an LS1 
but i agree with _Zac, if i had the choice of driving a Porsche or an F-Body, i'd take the Porsche any day.
i just hate it when the people who can afford the more expensive cars act like their **** doesn't stink.....any car can be made fast, so never assume you're faster....you might just get a shock (like the Porsche driver in the OP's story)

I would take a porsche over an ls1 car as long as it isnt a a boxster, those things are hella slow and not much nicer than a ls1 car. The thing about most exotic cars is that they dont have much more in them that what they came with from the factory. An ls1 car has endless potential but a carrera really doesnt, cars like that are for the image, not the performance.
