Wink Borla Muffler FS: $50 in DFW

It is a polished Borla muffler off of an F-body cat-back. It is the muffler only, no pipes or tips. This means it is 3" in on one side, and 3" out on the other side.

There is a small dent on one end of the muffler, but it does not affect the performance or sound. It has about 30k miles on it.

Just looking to get what I bought it for, $50 firm! I'm located in the Lake Dallas area, which is about halfway between Lewisville and Denton on I-35. I can ship if you'd like, but the buyer will pay for all shipping costs.

Thanks guys!

Sale pending! I'll try to get a pic up in the meantime, just in case.

So, is this the same as getting an actual "catback" without the three-inch pipes?

Correct! It actually came off of a Borla cat-back on a 30th Anniversary WS6, and then I had it on my truck for a couple months.

Ah. How many miles are on it? Does it still flow/sound well? Could I have a shop just weld this right into the stock pipes right now?

Miles are about 30-40k. Borla states a 1 million mile warranty on all of their stuff(T-304 stainless steel), so I wouldn't worry about it falling apart. Sound is the same as it would be new.

You COULD just have it welded on, but this muffler is set up to be used as a single in and single out muffler. So, if you used it on an f-body, it would be a single exit muffler.

To illustrate, here is what the entire system looked like:

That is the ENTIRE system. I am selling only the MUFFLER out of that system. If you want to duplicate this system for cheap, I'd just weld in the muffler and install a cut-out before the muffler. This will allow you to be loud and wide open when you want, and be able to cap the cut-out and tone things down when you don't want to be as obnoxious.

Any other questions, feel free to ask!
