Yes, I had just droped the motor in the car a couple days before. A couple of the guys called saying they were going to the track so I decided to take that one. On the way out there it drove fine until I hit the turn off on the highway. Thats when the car started going nuts. The cars voltage went to crap and all the gauges started acting up. The car did not want to idle or shift right.

I ran it anyways and it pulled a 12.2 with a 2.3 60ft. I figured that was not bad for 232 gears and the car running like crap. So I took it home.

I changed the alternator out to another one I had in the garage. The car has been having electrical issues ever since..

Update..

Last night Andrew and Clark came over to problem shoot this car. We discovered the car was only putting out 12.1 volts at idle. I decided to drive it to chilies since my wife was gone with the Avalanche. The car fininaly broke down and I had to be jumped off. It looks like the alternator is putting out enough charge just to keep the car running. But when we used the head lights on the way there it drained the battery.

I am going to change out the alternator today and see if that was the problem.

I know you hate the track Dave.. Come out to Prairie Hill this weekend and run the car. Quite a few of us are gonna go out there. I have never seen this car make a pass. The track has been really sticky.. RD and Adam were cuttin 1.7 60' with 17" ET streets.

LOL,
I have been driving it to work all week. Its running good and I would like to keep it. We are in the process of opening a new company and I could use the cash though...

No serious offers yet.. If some one would through a decent offer out there they could drive this thing home.
