sales tax & auto repair there was a thread about this a while back but I could not find it. I am looking for the laws about sales tax and auto repairs.
If i remember correctly, you no not have to pay sales tax on auto repairs (parts or labor).
anyone have any info on this?.

Unless you are tax exempt you have to pay taxes on all parts that were replaced. Labor is only taxed on services that are performed on the car that was not factory equiped with such items. Such as you want a sunroof installed on a car that was not equiped with one from the factory.
