I need a passing grade too. Car is fully legal but the SES light is on

you won't pass if the SES light is on, even if you take out the bulb. When the hook up the scan tool it will still show the DTC

Damn man, Ya'll guys have it bad! All the inspection guy tells me whenever I go and get my inspection is.. "If anyone ask you anything about your car, you did it after the inspection." Simple as that!

why not just have some1 turn off the rear o2's with hp tuners? then go pass without paying extra

Yeah. I had my rear o2's turned off on my '96 T/A. Didn't throw a code or anything when I swapped in my lt's.

I just get my cars inspected in college station. drive up there and tell them your a student. its cheaper than houston too.

this works out great for me since i'm changing my exhaust set up as soon as this weekend. i need to clear the existing code and pass the car prior to the install so if anyone can clear the code here in houston it would be greatly appreciated. I don't remember exactly which code it is but it's exhaust related... can roll on over to autozone and find out if necessary?
