i live on campus at coleman. there are quite a few ls1 guys on www.racelubbock.com forums. check it out

ah i remember seeing that formula forsale on here, i remember that thing was really clean inside and out. i think i may have seen your 300 a few times on campus. it may take about a week to get use to the long front end these cars have but after that youll love them. i leaned against lowering my car out here in lubbock, i dont know if its just the roll cage or what but my car feels like it already bottoms out on these roads sometimes

i'm pretty sure i've seen your car around. Heh if you ever wanna trade wheels...you know who to talk to ; ) Do you park in the garage? I usually park on the top floor somedays during the week.

I live off of Flint and 27th

was the car for sale on here? i never checked out the FS section of the forum and I dont remember if the guy said he had it listed here or not..wouldn't surprise me.

we should meet up sometime. probably have to be after xmas break because finals are coming up and all.

i'm still gonna shoot for lowering the car a bit. my Z was much lower and i'm used to it...just gotta take it easy on the roads here.

I've got a set of springs and shocks that will lower it 2" if you're really looking. Only had them on for about 8 months and now I'm doing more of a drag setup.

When I lived in lubbock. My z28 had a prokit. Also visited a couple times when my car had sportlines, Wasnt bad at all, just have to take some of the "Dips" at intersections slowly. I'd rather like to have a lowered car in lbk then in sm

id buy a aftermarket shifter before you bought springs. most cars a spring install is pretty easy but on Fbodies the front strut towers are almost always seized up on the strut forcing you to buy new ones. i think they were like $35 a piece plus you have to buy new front struts.

i park on the 3rd floor of the flint garage next to a black GTO. i drive my car two to three times a week usually so its almost always up there

yep i definitely see your car almost everyday parked next to the GTO. In fact I just left the garage about an hour ago and saw your car parked.

I bought the car with a short shifter already installed. As for the strut towers, hopefully all thats already been fixed. I don't know what brand, but it looks to me like the shocks have been replaced in the past. They are orange in color. As far as i know the stock shocks are not orange.

yeah i dont drive my car very much

the stock struts are orange lol. most of the time the bolts ontop of the shocks that keep the tower connected are rusted through badly. if your lucky enough to get the bolt off your still going to need to buy a new shock to bolt the tower back onto. (some people have been lucky but when i did a spring swap on 2 fbodies they were both rusted through)

Will that nasty bolt be on both the front or back or jsut one or the other. I appreciate you letting me know about that because I can just see myself getting everything ready to install and running into that problem.

the fronts are the problems, the backs just drop out when you jack up the rear and unbolt the shocks.
