If you guys want to really walk the walk, or just talk the talk, I have a set of authentic Gumball 3000 decals for sale on a certain auction website. Just plug in auction number "140188029087." (not sure if a direct link is allowed on this particular message board)

It's around 50k for the Gumball run. (Europe) Pretty sure that pays for you and a passenger, Then 10k per extra guest you bring. The Players, cannonball, and ect etc are totally different runs setup by different people, and in turn are cheaper to enter. These are not races and therefore are not illegal. They are "rallys".. This is like a cruise from one place to the next. There is no prize for being the first person there in most cases.

yeah i was just going to mention the canonball here in dfw. i forgot when they hold it here but i know the gumball is held the first couple of weeks in may, (i remember cuss it happens duruing my b-day) and there really isnt a set location for them. they like to go threw africa london england asia united states austrailia. i know the last one was HUUUGE. it was over THREE continents and the last leg was here in the states. they really dont like doing it here becuase the cops overhere dont have a sence of humor for that (that's what they said)

i know a guy who was involved in teh most reent cannonball run in teh states. The cars have to be able to run in access of 175 so that cops wont stop them. Its too dangerous and there is no state that will allow it. Also, most cars/bikes have scanners and other illegal equipment on them. You can either pull over and have the event pay your fine OR keep running. They're pretty dangerous and very expensive, i would like to run with em though.

well it is very very very highly underground for the us, as far as gumall 3000 that is in europe. thy race far far far across europe and i believe even into russia.?
the entry fee is $100K but these people have sponsors and money poured into this race. plus you can have a passenger for only an extra $10K i believe lol.
now as far as being on a smaller scale, the texas roundup2008? cheaper entrance fee? winner takes all pot!
im on board lol.
pm me to talk.
this type thing should not be public lol.

That is something I have been interested in for years. Something like Dallas to Austin, or to Oklahoma City...............etc. But you have to mix it up with highways and not all freeway. Ya'll want to organize a 20 car minimum this winter? I dont see it being a problem filling the spots in a huge hurry. $200 entry, 60%, 30%, 10% payout. No I havent thought about it before, and yes I type just fine drunk.

- There is also The Players Run sponsored by Playboy. Don't waste your time with the Gumball. Big parties every night, hot hookers running around, 5 star hotels.
FYI: They have these events on DVD at Best Buy.
- The Bull Run has changed up a bit. Used to be like a cannibal run but now is more of a show. Think they only go from LA to Aspen now.
Have always wanted to do one of these. Proly will before I kick the bucket.

We have the dustball rally 1000 around here. I barely missed it last year which I'm kind of glad because it got busted but I plan on going for it this next year. Its only like $300 for a two day race.
There's some videos on that website

Hmm...
My brother and I have been looking at doing one of the N.American ones, but that money could go to more mods...
The Texas Cannonball sounds a hell of a lot lighter on the wallet and driving record.
I'll look into that one personally for the summer one.
