Nobody hardly runs from a dig anymore these days. Very risky when your tires scream "street race" to near by police. Either way, I would rather catch a car and wizzz past rather than taking the lead from the dig and losing on the high end.

You guys in Dallas area must have alot of stock Supras running around over there. And of course they are going to be over 100,000 miles if they stopped making the cars in the mid 90s. I hardly see any stock late model Supras here in Houston. And don't hate on Supras, or I'll sick Kareem on you. (houston area only) jking

I'd rather have all three

Why don't most "american muscle" guys have any respect for supras? I think they are really nice cars. They have a ton of potential and they don't sound like stupid 4 bangers. Also, I for one think that they look really nice inside and out. Granted I wouldn't trade my camaro for one but I would love to have both.

Someone once told me that all those claimed 1000 HORESPOWER SUPRAS out there that ricers have wet dreams about have over $70k in them, put that much in our cars or hell almost any car out there and see wat it will do. or better yet buy a new Z06 and put some DR's on it and run mid 10's. then put about 10k it in at LG and make 580-600rwhp n/a.
YUP! Exactly what he said! My initial reaction was lol holy **** tho

A guy here at work owns a 94 TT supra. Its red. Completley stock! Ive seen many nice supras here in Houston. But that one by far is the biggest piece of **** TT supra Ive have ever seen. Has dents, smokes, tears in the leather, just crap. Every time I see that thing I think about what it should look like and shake my head.

I used to own a supra (a few, actually), and they are VERY capable cars with lots of potential with the stock setup. The bottom end can handle over 600hp easily, and the stock fuel system has been proven to a little over 600 as well. The biggest limiting factor with them is the stock twin setup, and even that is good to 400+. Even the drivetrain is bulletproof, the MkIII had an Aisin transmission very similar to the ones used in the solstice, and the MkIV had the Getrag 6 speed which has been used in several sub 10 second cars.

however, they are expensive as hell. 16-20 grand for bone stock beat to hell MkIV, up to 30-35 for nicer ones. The ones you see running sub 10 second 1/4's usually have at least $50K invested in them, and upwards of $100K-$150K for ones like Ryan Woon's (silver one with WOTM on the side). I remember standing in the dyno room at SILV 06 when RRev and WOTM were running 1350hp pulls and i thought the turbo whistle was going to blow my ears out!

That said are very nice cars with some hella good potential, but they are heavy and lack torque under spool. They are excellent high speed cars, but the total investment once you hit the ~600whp wall shoots the price up exponentially. To be honest I'd take a C6Z over one anyday.

They are incredible cars,
there are two in Austin that make 1600+hp and about 40 others in Austin that make 700+hp,
but they are ridiculously expensive,

Different strokes for different folks,
and yes, they are all rpm,

Dumbest thing i have heard in a long time. Supras are very respectable imports. I would take one over my car. Alot of them would run circles around our cars.

Supras are definitely some of the baddest cars on the street. I agree with Izzy, i would probably trade my car for a Supra (if its clean and has all the right characteristics)
