Default Day 4 no cigs!

And I am a ******** to everyone that I talk to...

Anyone else give up the nasty things for New Years?

Oh, I also gave up sodas at the same time.

I'm about a month and a half without them. Tried Chantix a week before quitting....stopped taking it afterwards cause it upset my stomach too much.

My advice....chew on straws, lots of gum on hand, sunflower seeds, and start running. You wouldn't believe how much a month off the smokes will do for your endurance....GREAT motivation to stay off them!!

Good luck bro!!

what are y'all talking about quiting smoking is easy!!! i do it atleast once or twice a week! lol

chantix is a great drug that lots of ppl have great success with but stomach irritation is a very common side effect. if you do try it make sure you take it on a full stomach

the best of luck and happy newyears

Congratulations, stick with it! It took me 3 tries to quit cold turkey, but it finally worked. Now I can't stand them.

I gave up drinking and smoking the sticky-icky recently.

Chantix was perfect for me the way I used it. The doc suggested I get on Chantix a week before I quit. It really did take a lot of the "enjoyment" out of smoking. I stayed on it for a week after and didn't feel it was really necessary anymore since I wasn't smoking. Anyway, long story short....I recommend it.

Again, be strong!! Think of all the performance parts to buy with all that money saved!!

I quit cold turkey last new years, i did good for 2 weeks. then i just started bumming off my co-workers, did that for 2 more weeks then finally brokedown and bought a pack, then another. finally "Lent" came (catholic thing) and i havent picked one up since!!!! its one of the best things ive ever done for myself, but honestly the cravings never go away but there not as bad the longer you keep off them. the trick is, you have to want to quit.

Another quitter here. I smoked my first few years in college, then I started playing trumpet again. Playing trumpet well and smoking are mutually exclusive activities.

Keep at it!
