Ford suing for logo and trademark infringement
Ford is now going after anything and anyone displaying or using a trademarked Ford logo or image. Even if the photo is of your own personal car, such as a Mustang or whatever, you could be infringing on their trademark claim. I can't think of anything more assinine to do to your customers/fanbase than this.
LS1tech.com, have you heard anything remotely like this from GM?

The news article is from June 2006 but it seems Ford is really stepping up enforcement of this policy.

This is so far beyond sensible, I have no idea why Ford would do something like this. If GM did the same thing with our vehicles I really have no idea how I would take it. I love my Camaro but this is some crazy stuff.

Ok, take Mustang Equipment for instance. What if the company has been around for longer than the "Ford" Mustang and Ford used the name after the equipment company put a trademark on the name? Does that theoretically mean that the equipment company could sue Ford and get royalties also for every mustang ever sold, or commercial ever made? If that is so then I hope that happens and brings the asses down. That would be funny if in two years we see a Mustang dozer tearing down the Ford plant or the stadium to excavate the dirt just because they can!

i understand if someone is making a toy or something with the ford name and logo without permission but having Mustang or ford in your company name should not have anything to do with it and pictures of your own car you have to blur out the emblems and ford ****. If i had a stang, id pull every emblem or anything that says ford.
