Looking for feature cars - GM High Tech magazine
please read this request carefully and keep this thread on topic, thanks.
We are specifically looking for the following vehicles to shoot for potential features in GM High Tech Magazine. All shoots will take place in Houston, TX, so be prepared to travel here if you are not already in Houston.
We are looking for street cars that run 10s or quicker. We are not looking for 10-pt caged racecars or cars on drag wheels at the moment. Here are the only potential vehicles we need at the current time:
LT1/4 F-bodies
LS1/6/2/etc. F-bodies
Turbo Buicks
Third Gens
Bonus points for rare special edition vehicles, or rare colors. Factory or OEM style wheels are not favorable, but will be considered on a case by case basis. If possible, see if you can buy or borrow some custom wheels if you need them.
If you feel that your car might fit the criteria above, please create a simple web garage with full specs over at www.fquick.com and post the link to your page here.
Thanks,
Tony

Completion in March. SHOULD be 600+ to the wheel NA and if I can drive it, a relatively easy 10 sec. pass.

LSX 454 1998 TransAm WS6
625 RWHP N/A running on 93 Grade fuel and all accessories attached, with onboard Twin Stage 300 Shot Nitrous Express System
I think it will run 10's
Street car, designed to cruise cross country with the A/C running, power windows up and still get 18 MPG at 70 mph. Idles well and never overheats.
Past Long Hauler on Power Tour, scheduled for the '08 Tour again (long hauler)
Awards include winning "Best of Show" World of Wheels - Conservative Hardtop, 1st Place at STARS in Florida and more.
