TRT is still in business....... well... sorta. Billy no longer owns the shop, and his son is running things at a new location.

You have MUCH better choices than those 2. PM what you are trying to do. There may even be a sponsor worth looking at thats close.

I hear alot of good things about SQR. Never been there. LG is top notch, but you pay alittle more for their experience.

Why? Because they can build a motor and stay in business? They are very competent and have great knowledge there.

How is your 408 TRT car doing?

No because saying take it to RayMac would be the equivelant of saying take it to hke... they are a machine shop... not tuner shop

Honestly.. my vote is SQR or RPM.

My car wont be going back to TRT since Billy is no longer the owner. I also had an issue with the tune on my daily from the other fella.

Nate.... my motor is a very very good one. My tune is not, and my car is missing many important go fast parts to make it complete. This is already common knowledge.

I ONLY have experience with RPM(horrible) and RayMac(wonderful) personally. Mike, you dont have a motor built at a tuner shop. You have a knowledgeable machine shop do that. The ONLY thing you did right with your WHOLE build was using Erik for the shortblock and greg for the heads. I remember you tooting your TRT horn ALOT until your **** blew up after a week. I asked him for a PM so i could see where he lives and tell him of a close sponsor. If there wasnt one i was going to advise a good shop depending on what he needed. I have only mentioned Raymac when i am asked who is doing my build. Dont worry though, ill be sure to set your 3spd auto race car a couple at the track compared to my 6spd street car.

Just giving you a hard time. My assumption was that you where doing the "tuning and instaliing" of your setup....and that would mean that the only shop you where working with was RayMac. And as far as the what I did right comment. I agree. Although TRT did a fine job installing everything. It was an error in communication and lack of experience with such a large amount of nitrous that quickly killed my setup. You better be in the 6.0's and 5.9's if you want to hang with that 6 speed..... that is where I am headed

I can't say enough good things about SQR.
They have worked with me through all the struggles with my build.
SQR gets my vote!

take it to SQR, last time I did some bussiness with TRT they did not deliver....I had to personally go out of my WAY to pick up the engine that I had purchased from TRT....
I understand Billy is not the owner anymore but SQR gets my vote.

So even though I sold you an HKE short block cheaper than ANYONE else and took your box of parts to Houston for free with no extra charge at all. Then when its done, you knew I would get it when I went, but if you want me to go just for yours you have to pay my gas to go get it. Oh and you come by and borrow parts for free. Sorry if I'm not bent out of shape. Ask Daniel if he would do it for free.
