Firstly, I bust ***** because you throw her out there like its super de duper fast. Secondly, I bust ***** because its the internet and by rule, you must. Thirdly, 98% of folks that drag switch to autos for consistancy and ease to go fast. I could be a real internet bitch and talk about what my "plans" for the car this year, but rather digress.

Are you referring to the BL Supra being a low-7 car? Last I checked, BL ran a 7.7x. Is Branden going low-7s?
What I see is: Someone asked Peter if he could join in the fun. Peter (originator of the event) said he'd be willing to put up some money for the LSx car to run but more than likely not in the event. Grudge/heads-up/whatever.
Now since initially it was a Supra event, the answer was given. Why do all the nut-swingers come out from taint hiding to flex their e-***** wanting this to happen?
If money doesn't seem to be much of an issue to some people, schedule tracktime for these runs and let it happen on a day/night/weekend that hasn't been in the planning stages half the year (TX2k8).

I said that I would like to see all out vs all out. I know what the times are for both cars. I would like to see LMR stretch their car out a little more like I think they are capable of but it will be a hard time against some badass cars. Either way, kiss my *** newbie and STFU!

Run it like you built it!! Thats the way it should be. Now it sounds like HOTRODGOSSIP racing at a Clobberthon. Wanting to change things to make it fit a bill. Them supra guys would bust my *** easily. But it would still be fun to race! As long as we all get along!! Its just grudge racing anyway. Come on!! Let them get in on duy! It would be like you picking on my car, lol!

You throw that around like it makes a huge difference.
I see what you are trying to say, but why don't you take the car and run in a class. Actually MIX it up with some fellow True 10 cars. Or even Drag radial, whatever.
Chris, you and Kean and the others up there in Austin have a hell of a car but you can not lean on a crutch because it is a 3.4L car with a snail and nitrous.
It is a RACE CAR NOW, being equal about what comes out on the plate to run it no longer matters. Making a "fair" race for a modified car is just retarded. This is like me trying to compare a 5 speed car with an NHRA Pro Stocker with a 5 speed liberty.

In regards to that post. (NO offense to you at ALL Tiago, and the others)
But I have never seen ANY of those street cars you listed AT the track and Laying it all on the line, besides little powell. Not like it means they do not run the number, but they do not want to break anything. I know those cars can do a 9.50 or damn close, but none of them were EVER at the track, geared up and ready to go.

there fore why I said the fun starts after the 1/4 lol
my car has never been remotely setup for 1/4... but I have tried unsuccessfuly to complete a pass.. just way to dangerous, car is all over the track. That is on street tires, 18" DR's. Things change when you have real rubber on the back as I am sure you know.

Exactly. I know their retort is going to be that slicks do not solve the problem, but that weight, speed, power is just dangerous. Especially since most of those cars AND Supras hardly have cages as well.
Just a tad bit dangerous. I am a machinist and racer. I like going to different events and tracks. My outlook on this sport is much different then it was 6 years ago, that is for sure.
