17 is age of consent in Texas, however, it is a felony for an employee of a school district to have any sort of sexual relationship with a student in that district. I have an acquaintance who is in his 50's and his wife is NOW 18. They had a kid together last year. Needless to say, he's in some hot water.

And no, she wasn't "worth it". She looks like...well...ME, but with long stringy blond bleached hair.

I've told my wife several times, if she ever decides to have an affair with a student, I'll just kill myself. She teaches middle school. If there's something a 13 year old can give her that I can't, I'll just kill myself.

person's spouse, whether the child is of the same or opposite sex,
the person:


§ 21.12. IMPROPER RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EDUCATOR AND
STUDENT. (a) An employee of a public or private primary or
secondary school commits an offense if the employee engages in:
(1) sexual contact, sexual intercourse, or deviate
sexual intercourse with a person who is enrolled in a public or
private primary or secondary school at which the employee works and
who is not the employee's spouse; or
(2) conduct described by Section 33.021, with a person
described by Subdivision (1), regardless of the age of that person.
(b) An offense under this section is a felony of the second
degree.
(c) If conduct constituting an offense under this section
also constitutes an offense under another section of this code, the
actor may be prosecuted under either section or both sections.
(d) The name of a person who is enrolled in a public or
private primary or secondary school and involved in an improper
relationship with an educator as provided by Subsection (a) may not
be released to the public and is not public information under
Chapter 552, Government Code.

 

No what happened was, the kid told his dad about the deal with his teacher and the agreement of grades. The dad got so angry that he went straight to the teacher to confront her. When he got there he was expecting a old worn out MILF but got there and saw the opposite. The dad caught a automatically hard on and asked if he could do her too! Seeing that he couldnt get any, he told his son hit it one more time and after that he would turn her in to the cops!! We all laugh. I have 3 daughters. I wouldn`t find it funny at all if a male teacher was having sex with one of them. If anyone else is a father they understand. We have issues with this bad in the school system.

 

I thought 17 was only the age of consent if you were within two years.

Thats bullshit that this never happened when i was in school. We did have a teacher though that went out with some students on several occasions and got drunk with them. She got fired and she was also married with a kid.

I looked it up. This is all it says.

But...

When I was studying Criminal Justice in College, I remember a discussion about a Three (3) year rule pertaining to teenagers. For example: A 16 year old with a 13 year old, or even an 18 year old with 15 year old.

However, I do believe there is NO (3) year rule.

It clearly states that the legal age of consent is (17) and I believe that if the case for two persons under the age of (17) has sex then neither can give consent. So both parties can be charged with an offense, even if it is consensual. So, if two 16 year olds are having sex then they are both breaking the law.

But, do not quote me on anything, because I’m not a lawyer and the way the laws in Texas change I’m sure by tomorrow there will be something different.
