It was killer then and center street was even more so popular in the 80's from what I hear. We used to meet up @ taco bell and gerlands parking lot and also go to the kroger meet in pasadena.

Does a young kid drive it? Silver with black wheels? 6 speed? He can't drive.

Let me and my brother know when you bring it out, I want to run you.

When center street had just one light back in the day, everybody from all parts would come out to cruise and play.

Now though,

speeding on center=death

If you're from the area...Who hasn't been pulled over on center before?

Hahahah yeah the kid is like 18/19 and lives across the street from me. He has had it almost a year now and managed to break the rear end on a stock car And yes it is a six speed. Funny thing is it used to be silver and pink

There is nothing to do in Deer Park besides get pulled over. No races No one ever wants to race me around here

You know I wondered that myself. I actually found out there are some people here I went to high school with.

I got smart for once and decided to pull the motor before I cranked up the boost. Right now its at usa racing engines and should have it back by the end of the week. I figured I'd go through it and drop the compression to 9:1 while its out.

They told me I had a couple of bearings that were about to give and that I had the worst valves he's ever seen, due to all of the valve float. I pretty much had everything replaced but the crank and rods. I'm hoping to run 17-18lbs and make at least 600rwhp. I guess I'll find out in another week.

Ok guys/gals, I have a question. I just wanna know how bad the cops are in the Deer Park/Kemah/La Porte area about not having a front license plate? I really don't plan on putting it on just for this Friday-Sunday. I might just carry it with me just incase.

Oh yeah.. And are they strict about having loud exhaust? Sometimes on the highway I have my cut-out open. It's one of them cheap manual ones so like I don't wanna have it open and get pulled over. Thanks in advance guys.

Dont go around driving like an ******* and you will be ok.

Ive been rockin no front plate since 01? Been pulled over twice for it; I would just keep it in the back seat and toss it in the windshield if you get pulled over.

Also our last few cars have included
-99 Ram air ta with headers and exhaust
-99 ta cammed/headers/ dumps
-97 vette header/loudmouth exhaust
-00 ss camaro with cam headers and cutout
-00 supercharged vette with headers and bullet exhaust
-02 supercharged vette with headers and bullets
-99 ws6 h/c headers with bullet dumps

I have never been pulled over for a loud car. Just drive normal and you wont have an issue

Same here. Heck, I have a "Loudmouth" exhaust, and it causes me no real harm. Given, cops will see/hear me, and some have followed me for a bit to see if i'm going to do something stupid, which I never do, but it's very rare that even that happens with them following me.

As stated, just don't drive like a tard and try to do crazy stuff and you'll be fine, hun!

Yeah well I don't drive stupid. I'd rather have my damn cut-out open then my Flowmaster exhaust. I'm trying to save for a Corsa right now... So the Flowmaster is gonna have to get the job done for now. Oh and the Flowmaster was on the car when I bought it.. I never put it on, lol.

Yep that's me...just let me know when you want to run them since you couldn't hang with Rainer in the crew cab. I'm a little slower, but I'll put cash on it at the track....win light takes it. Let me know.
