It's ******* ridiculous that they tie this **** to your credit, especially when you have cases as listed above where someone else owns the damn car & it was sold years ago. Legal matters like breaking traffic laws should never be able to damage your credit.

Not true....yet anyway.
They could start to enforce that in the future.
It is just money that goes towards the city.
The wife has been busted twice making a right on red and not coming to a complete stop at the same intersection....
It will not go on your credit either - if the city starts to send the info to Dept of Public Trans then you will have to pay the 75.00 plus a 25.00 late fee before you can register your vehicle...

"you're" is a contraction that means "you are". you probably don't know what a contraction is either since its evident "your" a moron since "you're" word usage is all jacked up. did that sentence look right to you? of course it did. dude

ps: got any pics of your "elite" hot rod?
This looks exactly like something I could have written. Clever ****.

Oh, pay the fine. It isn't worth the risk and I agree the city has no intention of letting you off this easily. Pay now or pay later.

it is only $75, true. but I have 4 outstanding tix to pay for also... money's tight at the moment but im gonna do a little more research b4 I decide not to pay it. i'm gonna call my attorney back and see if I can find out how they concluded that by not paying I won't be reported to a collection agency or credit bureau. luckily have outstanding credit so a little bs unpaid $75 isnt gonna make a **** anyway

now this is exactly what I was trying to explain. of course law enforcement officers are going to say it will go on your credit BECAUSE THEY DON'T REALLY KNOW like many of you that just pay the fine and say well its only $75. why pay it if its guaranteed there will not be any repercussions? again, I will confirm this yet again with my attorney who knows the traffic laws far better than any of us and ill let yall know what he says verbatim, again.

MY WHOLE POINT FOR STARTING THIS THREAD WAS TO NOTIFY ALL OF YOU THAT IT ISN'T NECESSARY TO PAY RED LIGHT CAMERA FINES AND TO SAVE EVERYONE A FEW BUCKS.

If it were true, I really don't see how they could ding your credit. Without proof that I signed some form of contract, it should hold no water. I'm no lawyer though.

that's exactly right. when u get pulled over you have to sign the ticket as a promise to appear in court, and if you don't they issue a warrant for your arrest. in this case, I didn't even receive a red light camera ticket in the mail so im completely unaware I ever "broke the law". I didn't sign for **** and I never even received any notice. they will send a reminder letter next month for $100 this time which will include a $25 late fee, but i'm not gonna get that one either. end of story

Possibly due to having a traffic lawyer on retainer for 10 years straight?
