ummm... It started in Wisconsin and I did the long haul. Being in Chicago isn't an excuse, that just means you end closer to home. That is MUCH better than the long road trip home for us in TX.

 

Ha yeah believe me I thought about it but I cant take my car for the long haul and I asked a few buddies if I were to if they would co pilot and split costs and noone can get off work or so they say. I dont even think I can but im not giving up yet and either way maybe I can catch the last few days of it but no matter what il make it up to madison

 

Im going to try and make the first two stops. Seeing that I have my first baby on the way and will be in the middle of moving into a new house it would be hard to make the whole thing.

 

Oh yeah, I will be there for the Long Haul this year again!

 

Hey there Nine Ball- My husband and I did PT last year for our Honeymoon- LOVED IT!!!! We took my car (below in sig) We had "Honeymooning Power Tour" in white vinyl graphics on our back window... I never saw your Monaro conversion the whole Tour...crazy! (I'm assuming thats your car?)

This year, I think we'll do the first couple of stops, not the entire tour....We would love to meet up and cruise with you guys if you get a caravan together!

I may drive to Texarkana Friday night and then drive on in. Also, I think there will be another car with me but he may not make it.

 

Well, we're meeting up with some friends we met last year. We'll be meeting and leaving Friday morning at 9:30 from Rockwall, Tx. If anyone is interested PM me! Currently in our caravan we have a 67 camaro, 96 camaro Z28, 2000 vette, 66 shelby cobra, my 05 GTO and a couple of other cars I that don't come to mind right now...

Look for the Nitto Tire booth at each stop. We will have an LS7 powered '69 Camaro, my supercharged Viper, and a supercharged LS1 powered '68 Camaro convertible.

Rolling outta Houston at about 8:30 Friday morning. Plan is up HWY59 to I-30 into Little Rock.

 

 

It is faster to go up 45 through Dallas, 59 North sucks *** due to all the turns and small towns you are forced through. I've gone both ways and 45 was quicker.

We'll be leaving around 1pm today.
