I don't think there are too many guys out there trying to build 7.5 NHRA racers on a budget either.

It seems to me that as far as selling it is concerned, the car is in some automotive limbo. It's too much for the budget crowd and it might not be enough for the all out crowd.

Now as far as price is concerned, I think you could probably part the car out and sell the components separately and easily recoupe 10K, then kick the shell out for another 3K if you wanted.

I'm not being negative. I think these are legitimate points and questions that should be asked.
( sarcasm = on )
Words of Wisdom! Lets get the SawsAll out and cut that cage out. Or sell it as a shell with the cage in it for $ 3K.

After having (and helping) to convert my car to a 7.50 chassis, I can attest this is a smoking deal since you can start fitting in the powertrain now...not a year from now...

Have you put it up on racingjunk?

It has been on racingjunk for a while, i guess is just the wrong time to be selling... i was expecting it to be gone before the season started.

Sure the car may be a "smoking deal" for the handiwork, but who's the intended customer? Do you really expect some guy to come running in out of left field and say, "OMG, thank god you have this 25.5 spec car for 19 thousand. Otherwise I would never have been able to get my 7.50 NHRA race team off the ground."

I mean, at least put a running drive train in the car and offer that and recoup your costs that way. Because from the outside looking in, all I see is a stripped out car with no windshield.

Moser 9 inch? Weld Wheels? Full suspension? Thats great, but it's the equivalent of a 5 story house with granite and marble and gold shower heads, just with no indoor plumbing or wiring. Buyer has to install that "themselves".

Now if you start parting the car out, let me know.
i see your analogy but again like previously stated this car has a one purpose and thats to go insanely fast. not to drive and get groceries. the way i see hes done all the hard parts. putting in a motor and tranny plus wiring harness isnt all that hard.
