Default Unique Performance Auction (Dallas)

Check it out! Most of you know what this is, but if you don't, these guys built replicas of the the GT500E from Gone in 60 Seconds. Apparently they were eligible for the Shelby registry and everything. Anyway, the got busted for VIN fraud and not delivering cars that had $100k+ deposits on them. Now they're in bankruptcy and they're auctioning all the stuff that was seized.

1969 Camaro shells, 67-68 Mustang shells, shop equipment, etc:

Only problem with that, from what I saw was the 25% registration fee. I would be all over a few things on there. There are some sick cars but more importantly there are 69 camaro parts I want/need.

What do they base the 25% on? Is it the final bid price of what you win?

Yeah, I wasn't too sure of what they meant. Some decent stuff, though.

I'm registered. Going to the preview on Tuesday. You can only bid 4 times what you deposit is. If you give them $300 up front, you can bid up to $1200 in the online auctions. If you want to place a larger bid, you have to take them more up front cash. If you do not win any of the items you bid on, you get your deposit back.

You have to register online. There is no charge to register BUT your bidder number is not activated until they get your deposit. Yes you can just show up for the viewing on Tuesday but from what they told me, you can't leave a deposit until you have registered online.

I am going to the viewing and then leaving my deposit with them on Tuesday based on what I am willing to spend for the items I want to bid on. Bidding on all items ends on Thursday so you will not miss a chance at any items by not bidding before the Tuesday viewing.
