Anyone know where I could buy a Dalmatian dog?

I got mine at the SPCA.
CAUTION: I looked up the breed in a dog breeds book and the first sentence after describing the physical and attitude charastics read; Make no mistake about it, your Dalmation when young will destroy your house, I do not mean might, I mean it will!
That $10 dog from the pound did ~5 grand worth of damage and left me shoeless the first winter. The first 3 months were fine and then wham!!!!!
God I luv em though, now that he got over it.

I've had two Dalmatians and neither of them destroyed the house or chewed up anything. Just know that they are very energetic for the first 3-5 years of owning them, and they will need a lot of attention and time working with them on tricks and behavior, but no doubt the best dog I ever owned was a dalmatian. Once you show them something they do well to remember it.

I would recommend that you check out some well known dalmation rescue organizations.
If you are not going to take the time to professionally train and show your dog then spending a ton of money on a champion bred dog is kindof a waste.
You can get a champion bred dog from a rescue organization for a fraction of the cost and you can get an older dog that will not destroy your house, yard and stuff. Not to mention getting a dog that is already housebroken.
There are a ton of wonderful dogs that are waiting to go to a great home, make their day and save one of them.
Not sure where you are at man but here are a few to check into.

As with any big decision take your time and shop around. A good rescue and breeder will take the time to answer all of your questions. Don't make an impulse buy/rescue because it will end up costing you a lot of money and heartache.
Good luck and keep us posted on what you decide.

We got a dalmatian from a shelter in Ft. Worth. Previous owner lived in an apartment ...
Definitely hyper and energetic. While she really, really, REALLY likes my wife's slippers (not shoes, just her slippers), she is pretty much a non-problem.
She's dumb as a rock, but very loving ...
