I was in Wal-Mart just flipping through the pages of Camaro Performers and lo and behold, I flip to page 96 and my jaw drops!
At 0.001 seconds I thought "hey, those cars look familiar..."
At 0.01 seconds I thought "you know, that picture looks familiar too..."
Then at 0.1 seconds I went "HEY! THAT'S MY MOM AND SISTER'S NAMES!"
I showed it to my mom, and she had the same response!
I completely forgot I emailed the magazine several months ago.
I sent them a little story and some high res pictures and never heard a response back, so I figured they didn't want to use them. BIG SURPRISE HUH?
It's too bad they didn't spell my name or Callaway right. I wonder how they messed that up? I spelled my name and Callaway right in the email... (Brandon)
Oh well, Super Chevy has a long history of typos in their magazines, so Camaro Performers should be no different!![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)

I'm the art director for a magazine called Eclipse (eclipsetexas.com). I wish Camaro Performers was based in Dallas so I could design for them too.

I'm surprised they made a typo though since this was my original email December 6, 2007:
I'd like to submit my mother's 2002 35th Anniversary Edition Camaro SS and my sister's 1995 Camaro Z28 to Camaro Performers' readers rides section!
My name is Brandon and the three of us live in Dallas, TX. I'm the "voice" of our cars when it comes to message boards, and you can find me on CamaroZ28.com and LS1tech.com with the user name Brangeta.
My mother's name is Pamela, and her 2002 Camaro SS is SLP SS number 2648 and 35th Anniversary Limited Edition number 972 of 3369. She is the original owner, and it is completely original as it came from SLP's factory. It's a 6-speed manual coupe with t-tops. It was purchased in November 2001, and came the SLP options: center-mount exhaust (345 HP), Auburn high torque differential, Hurst short-throw shifter, cold air induction and SLP air intake box, Bilstein suspension, and 35th Anniversary rear deck mat.
My sister's name is Desiree, and her 1995 sebring silver Camaro Z28 is an automatic and is also completely original as it came from GM's factory. The Z28 has a stunning combination of options because of its lack of t-tops, solid black "canopy/cockpit" look, and its graphite leather interior. As far as factory stock Camaros go, this is a real looker. Our parents purchased it in 1996 from a dealership in Lubbock, TX where it saw the first few months of its life as a demo car and it has been with us ever since.
My father owns a 1992 arctic white Corvette and lives in Houston, TX. My car is a 2002 Toyota Corolla at the moment, and I am saving up to purchase my dream car--a used 1996 Callaway C8 Camaro.
Camaro/Chevy lovers for life

Feel free to choose whichever picture(s) you like best.
Thanks!
