Quick Qt. Mile Question..

This is probably a stupid question, but I was wondering what an '01 LS1 f-body with an LS6 cam and a Flowmaster catback (with cutout) will run in a quarter mile. It's an all stock A4, other then what I had listed. My Dad's friend said his car ran a 12.8 and I don't know what to think. It's sitting on street tires. Just wanted to know if anyone has a similar set up and what they are running quarter mile wise. Thanks..

Almost that exact setup was on my M6 car. . .with bad slicks, I got a 12.71 pass in. So, yes, I think it's doable. .

yep I think its doable....had u said with the flowmaster catback only and no cutout I would of said 13.2 LOL

All stock? I better not run mid 13s in my LS1 M6 T/A. I'll be pissed, just because my '96 LT1 T/A A4 ran a 13.9 with just a Moroso CAI.

It can run that time, but it depends on alot variables. DA, tires, driver, track and so on.

Theres only one way to find out, right?

An M6 and street tires will be unforgiving to ya. Buy or borrow someones 15 inch wheel and sticky tire and dont worry about lack of traction.
