Isnt it ok if its on the dash and visible to where the cops can see it??Ive been pulled over for no plates up front or on the dash, got away with a warning though!!! Decided to just keep the plate on even though it does look like **** with them on.....

Have been pulled over 3 times all warning and i still refuce to put one on it looks tuturuuu imo and the thing that pisses me off is that there are tons of suv's and other cars without them and ive never heard of them getting pulled over.

its funny, i used to get pulled over left and right for having no front plate when i drove a red 1999 mitsubishi gsx with a fmic, but ever since i got the pontiac ive only been pulled over once for speeding..never said anything about the plates not being there. I really do think cops at least in texas are biased towards our cars
at least i hope..

I have gotten about 6 warnings
and 4 actual tickets for it
+ 2 fixi it tickets, where if I fixed it within XX days and brought it in, they dismiss it,
( sent in a pic for one of those )
all over 10 years,

I've had two warnings, but only because they pulled me over for other stuff and didn't want to give me a ticket. I just tell them that's how I bought the car and that there's no mounting hardware there.

With you on that one....my brother has a Lexus SUV and there is no where to put the plate in the front....i have never been pulled over for plates....but it always crosses my mind when i see a cop coming up from the opposite direction...

The only law dogs around here that care are the DPS troopers that work the county roads and interstate. RPD, Williamson county Sherrifs and constables don't seem to take notice, except for one motorcycle unit I ran across, but even that was a warning.

I got pulled over like a month after I bought my car... Then the guy who sold me the car said he would ship the plate, but he never did, but anyway I got a warning and ended up putting a plate on the front, eventhough I freaking hate it.
BOSS APPROVED!

My first pullover for no front license plate landed me in county jail cuz it was 3 a.m. and I was drunk! 
Oh and, yes, it was a a**hole state trooper. 
Second time I got pulled over for not having it I got a warning. Since that happened I decided to put it on and it's been on for 3 years now.

I just got my first warning i had it on my dash still gave me **** but i kindly put it on i didnt have insurance, but im back to riding legal and the plates off. I asked a friend of mine hes a cop he said its a bitch stop he does it to check for drugs, drank, or stuff like that....

When I got my antique plates for my Nova the lady at the court house only gave me one plate so I asked where is my other plate she said you only have to have one plate on an antique car. I have gotten a ticket in my other trans am though for no front plate. I think that is stupid that you have to have a front plate on any thing but an antiqe car.

i've been pulled over 3 times in one year already by the same cop in texas and she looks really pissed about it now, i was lucky she didnt have her ticket book or she would've
