Absolut is not trying to suggest that America is currently packed with hispanics in these regions but just shows how things COULD of been. But they aren't, so why get mad over it?

Magazine/billboard... not blog. The only reason it is on blogs is because it offends people. Once again, show me an American magazine/billboard where this ad runs and I will gladly bow out.
IMO- good advertising does not sway an audience to NOT purchase a product. That would be like a performance shop alienating against a certain demographic to make sure they dont buy
A Hispanic advertising company pitched the concept to Absolut and Absolut liked it and approved it because it is a good ad that follows the theme of the rest of their advertising.
Absolut is not trying to suggest that America is currently packed with hispanics in these regions but just shows how things COULD of been. But they aren't, so why get mad over it?

Advertising is to get people talking about it, just like we are now! Regardless of good or bad advertising its still advertising meaning you have gave in to it and started a thread in LS1tech.com, where now most of us that weren't aware of this are now (regardless of good or negative opinions), you see how ADVERTISING works? It has us talking about it. I think they did their job and you helped them make it easier by posting it on here and letting all of us know!
