Im not getting excited over this....it's everything in general. Everyone wants to walk all over America and take from us and then talk down about us in the same breath. It's not just advertising to me, it's a shot at our current position on Mexico and our borders. Think rather than look at the picture.

So go out there and fight for it then!! Why are you on here debating with us "that dont care of America"? Go into Mexico with the guy that said he had new guns he wanted to use and fight them! We will be here sitting down, I meant "laying back" looking at the news to see what your outcome was. Its ridiculous, its freaking liquor! One day when our war is against advertising companies then it will have my attention.

"Think rather than look at the picture." - that's rich. Like I said, it's frivolous because it effects us in no way. You get butt hurt over a picture and it's pseudo implications. The way I see it, it's patronizing the Mexican people because it says "In an Absolut world" which means... can you guess it? IT'S NOT REAL.

I agree, as an advertisement... it worked. It got people talking. I dont see this as like the Howard Stern show where the people that hated him listened to him more than the people that liked him (this was in the beginning of his show of course). This is the kind of thing that will make cooperations lose money.

I, personally, didnt say anything like that. However when one is advertising a product, they chose an ad that APPEALS TO THE MASSES. They wouldnt print it if the populous didnt like it. Like Absolut wouldnt print an ad with a map that showed the current borders that said "Absolut STFU because its the way it is." Regardless if the current ad is reality, it shows what the Absolut (perfect) world would be... in that case America would be half the size. If the majority of Mexicans didnt think that way, the ad would never have been run.

You know there are people in this AMERICA of yours that down America and were born here and happen to not be Mexican most of the times as well. So your point is? You will take on all these people yourself right? Tax money gets waisted on bullshit everyday. So we need to see you do something about this since you dont want to be a pussified old person.

If Mexicans think that then thats their opinion of that topic. Now answer this, why arent we at war with Mexico since everyone knows they are trying to take over?

oh noes! what are we gonna do when the mexicans start invading the U.S. with bottles of Absolut?

perhaps we can hurl bottles of Jim Beam back at them?

last time i checked, the last time anyone "invaded" the U.S., they got large areas of their country turned in to a dirt parking lot. i'm not saying that i agree with what happened, but it is pretty clear that at the present time, the U.S. is in no danger of being taken over by anyone. if you think that some ******* liquor ads are going to prove otherwise, you need your head examined, and maybe take up residence in the padded-wall hotel.

I think yall need to chill, its just a fucken ad, plus once they close the borders the surge of illegal immigration will some what decrease, the wetbacks that are here will Americanize themselves and start to assimilate. Beleive me it does happen, why? Because I was one and I did, but take into consideration that I did grow up here and I was Americanized at an early age... Do you think I wanna go back to **** *** Mexico hell NO, I consider my self American, but I am proud to be Hispanic. I dont fantasize about some fucken revolutionary theory or bs about taking back what was once Mexico. **** that, honestly I wish America had kept all of Mexico when they beat them in Mexico City, allot of people would of been better off, White, black, asians etc..do yall know how many Natural resources Mexico has, a **** load, we wouldn't be fucken depending on **** *** Venezuela and middle east for so much petrolum. I understand that the ad is insulting but Mexicans and Mexican Americans are very very different despite apperence and popular beleif. We are like the modern day Irish immigrants from the early 1900's, we might look different than the other white people but eventually we will asimilate. I dont think any of yall with Irish heritage have an aligence to Ireland do yall? I dont think that modern day Italian Americans have aligence to Italy, maybe to there culture but not some foreign country were there ancestors came from.
