Usually AutoZone or he can hit up the fleamarket on 610S on the weekends. There is a middle eastern guy in there named Sam. He always gave my friends and I good prices on stuff. He sells stereo equipment and such.

ok you can go to AutoZone and drop $80+ bucks for both low and high beam bulbs, or you can get on Ebay and get both high and low beam bulbs 5900(k) brightness for $17 like i did...

you're friend is not smart for not going the Ebay route and also not very wise if he wishes to spend x4 times the amount for bulbs too...

the 5900(k) is just on the light blub spectrum of the bulb. if he wants 8500(k) those would be the deeper looking blue color...

found some at my secret source(distributor warehouse) Got some for my truck too, and for my lil brothers tahoe.

I didnt get high beams cause I never use them. I got the fogs and the lows for 14 bucks, and they are not ricey looking or super super blue(4500K), but have a nice HID look to them

They should not melt the headlight housing. As long as they are the same wattage and Voltage should be the same temperature as the halogens.
