I remeber when i was with my brother in his 2001 SS back in like 2003 and we were doing over 100 in a 40 and got pulled over. The cop called my dad and told on my brother and let my brother go with a warning.

But you shouldnt be smart with the cop cause you were the one breaking the law by a long shot.

Hahaha ok buddy, I'm sure you've never taken your car up to 145 before on an empty *** back road. Did I ever try and insinuate that I was cool in any way? Hm... Looking back, I really don't think so, and you'll see me wrapped around a pole one day? In that quote that was my friend driving, and we were doing the speed limit the whole time seeing as she was on the phone with the cops, and by pulling into oncoming traffic I mean coming out of a U-turn lane in an opening large enough for only one car. Dangerous? Probably not... I may like to gun my car every once and a while, and hanging out of a car is dangerous, but if you're holding on tight then who cares... If I day atleast I was havin fun.

If your going 145 and you see a cop turning around, it would take 60 seconds for him to even catch you, thats assuming you slow down to 65mph and hes driving 130 constantly. I would never be in a situation to pull over if Im going 140 and see a cop pull a U-turn, im stepping it up to 150 and changing direction at the nearest cross road.

I understand you wanting to have fun because i am also young but hanging out of a car while its moving is one of the dumbest things i have ever heard. Just be careful cause we dont want to hear about someone who has hanging out of a car and happen to fall out.

People that brag about going insanely STUPID (like 145 mph) to me are idiots.

IF IT'S TRUE (which I think he's embellishing JUST a bit), they should burn the car to the ground, and lock him up for the rest of his life.

I'm sure he wouldn't be bragging about it if he'd kill somebody going 145 because he lost control of his car....hmmm.....

DEFINITELY a teenager. And it's kids like him, that cause decent drivers insurance rates to skyrocket when they are younger.

Even though my car is capable of 145, I would NEVER go THAT fast!

What's the point? To show off?

IF you want to go that fast, goto a track where it's somewhat controlled, and you have more of a chance of killing yourself instead of some innocent people on the road.

i can honestly tell you that if i was going over 100 passing a cop, that i would not pull over......... not that i encourage such behavior but i can say that. i can even say that even after i know 100% sure they do have my tag number i still might not. it all depends. its not smart, but i can say its been done.

Well, at least it was an empty back road. Obviously, this is taking a huge risk, but if you're going to do it, try to use as much sense as possible. Several years ago, I went 140 mph for just a few seconds on I-10. It was quite an exhilarating experience. I have never gone that fast since then.

then what is the point of owning a car..... "street car" that is, that can go that fast...... i guess it also "cool" if you cant control your car that fast i advise you not to. but unless you can prove someone was in danger, your comment means nothing. obviously it wasnt in a dangerous situation or the cop would have delt with it differantly.
