Default canola oil in brownie mix?

my girl is trying to make me brownies but all we have is canola oil and the mix calls for vegetable oil...can we use the canola oil instead?

You should be able to replace it with the canola with out any problem. I'm sure as long as you don't use an oil that adds an out of place taste to the mix your fine. ie Olive oil, peanut oil, mobil one

We use olive oil mostly so yes canola will work well. If you're in a pinch butter/margarine would probably work too.

lol, thanks for the info...i didnt know where else to ask this question(mom or grandma werent answering the phone) so i turned to ls1tech. lol...i would really like to try some "special brownies" ive never had them, do they taste the same? are the effects the same? ive only smoked about 10 times...i just quit my job last night so maybe i should hold off on that though seeing as how im gonna be looking for a new one...kinda reminds me of katt williams when he says "If you aint got a job, and you dont smoke weed, i do not know what the **** you are doing with your life!" haha

it's more of a body feeling and it lasts longer, the taste depends on which method you choose to make the brownies

How did the brownies turn out?

Im making cookies with my gf right now...Had a hankering for Homemade M&M Sugar Cookies and a glass of milk...They are so badass right out of the oven warm, with a cold glass of milk
