Default Who do you have your home insured by...

I am currently shopping for Home Insurance and wanted to get a general consensus on what everyone had and how they like them. If you had to make claims how good where they with the process of paying out?

Thanks,
Mike

Same, State Farm. They are higher than some of the other quotes that I got but I feel more comfortable using them.

State Farm here too. If you need to make a claim, they don't dick around. They cut you a check and you get your **** replaced. Same with their car insurance.

Speaking of all of this, I still need to take inventory of everything that is in the new house. I would be pissed if I didnt and someone ripped me off.

I currently use Farmers, they have good prices & I couldn't find anything bad on them. Not to be confused with State Farm.

I use Travelers for home and auto. No problems out of them and customer service has been good.

Germania ...

Smaller, Texas based company.
Good rates, local service, quick responders, quality customer service.

I've had multiple clams over the years ... hail damaged roof, home burglary, vehicle burglary, water intrusion damage ... never once has my premium been raised because of a claim.
