kid is probably scared shitless and this will probably open his eyes to the real world. I think the suspended license will hurt his feelings more than jail.
Money says a year from now he gets busted driving on a suspended lic.

even tho he deserves it... he is probably pissing in his diaper right about now.

WOW! 8 Months and to think OJ didn't get any jail time! Not that there shouldn't be any punishment, but JAIL TIME??? Come on the other guy knew what was up and didn't fasten his seat belt that could have helped him a lot possibly, but we will never know that. I feel for the guys familly, but if the go for some outrageous amount we will know then it wasn't just about taking care of there son and the medical bills etc...

I think Hogan's family should cough up some dough to help out the family.

If he wasn't Hogan's son this wouldn't be newsworthy this kind of crap happens all the time and it's messed up. we just had a few accidents around here involving kids racing and killing everyone in the car, and another where two were involved and the passenger died and the driver parallelized. and the parents of the driver tried to sue the passengers parents for his holding a gun on the driver and telling him to race/speed.

Nick will go in and serve 1 week at most and his family scarred and his father back in the ring soon.

Its not a point of whether his buddy decided to get in the car at not. The kid shouldnt be racing at the speeds he was. He cant handle his car. Hulk shouldnt be sued but nick should have to man up.

I agree Hulk shouldn't have to pay anything. But since Nick is only 17, his parents are legally responsible for him until he's 18, I assume since that's how it is in most states including Tx. Sucks for the other guy who got hurt but, I'm sure he was no choir boy and that wasn't the first race he'd ever been involved in. Sometimes you play, you pay.

^^ pretty much...he is not yet considered a legal adult...therefore he will more than likely be going to juvenile correction facility...

Now the question is this: If they try him as an adult, are his parents no longer responsible for him? Otherwise that seems like getting double slammed.

the only thing that said he was racing were "witnesses" anyone that hears or sees a yellow supra with a loud exhaust doing 10 mph over the limit is gonna say "they were racing/speeding very very fast." his friend wasnt wearing a seat belt, nick was, so i find his sentence suitable for the crime. the friend shouldve been a man and told nick to stop if there was a real danger. The friend is at fault here, the family also has to go through a divorce too. i feel the media and jury put a lot of stereotyping into this case. it pisses me off when they take celebs and make examples of them.
