didn't stop the guy's family from trying to milk his family for all they're worth because they're famous and have tons of money. the guy knew what he was doing when he stayed in the car while they were racing. and i'm sure that incident was definitely NOT the first time they raced together.

No one is ever truly prepared for the consequences every time they perform a high risk activity and I am sure most of the people on this site have done some sort of racing. Even if you do not feel compassion for the injured person at least think about how it is going to ruin his parents/family financially and emotionally.

but its not like it was a kid, the dude was like 22, plenty old to make his own responsible decisions, no telling how much money the hogans done gave that family to try and keep them happy so they wouldn't sue. And now there suing anyways! What a shame

so all you guys have never street raced i take it? Sure aren't showing much understanding for nick and his family.I feel very bad for the kid thats hurt but unless he was trying to get nick to pull over or something i dont see why everyone on here is being so gay about the situation.I've raced plenty of times with friends in the car and am thankfull that nothing has ever happend.If it did though i wouldn't expect there family to put all the blame on me cause i was driving.Nick was 17 this kid is 22?? The passenger has to accept some responsibility for choosing to ride with him.The risk seems assumed when your out racing does it not?If nicks dad wasn't hogan than it doesn't seem like the family would have reacted like they did.$$$$$$

BTW: I thing nick acts like a tool.I just think you guys are hating alittle to hard ..

yea, it's all fun and games till someone gets hurt or worse. i don't take street racing lightly and i don't participate. i'm older than most on this site and i've seen a few sad incidents when i was younger. so, be carefull, things can go bad.

nick couldent drive and we all know it...is friend did know it was a danger being in the car...i feel the punishment was fair...maybe the medical bills should be cut somehow not sue the hogans for millions...only doing that because they have money..
