what about emission exempt towns? are their any good towns that are RIGHT OUT of the city, not to far away? i notice that Katy and Dayton were some towns that are exempt that are not too far from houston. Any exempt towns right out of Dallas?

i know that, thats how i found those cities. Their located in waller and liberty county. just want to know if those towns are a good place to live or if their are any towns close by that are exempt and are good towns

No one is truly expempt. OBDII cars are easy to pass if they don't have any touble codes. I had a nice hole in a gutted cat, !AIR , and !EGR and a cam for my last inspection and it passed because my rear O2's, EGR, and AIR are tuned out. The thing they made me fix was a burned out taillight bulb.

Sad thing is, the EPA has Texas under a microscope and has for a while so I give it less than 10 years before CARB type regulations are around.

Ive been thinking about leaving Tax happy Cali for a while too. Get more bang for your buck over in Texas, and it seems that their is a huge lsx community right there in houston. I might be down to roll out and go there myself

just fyi, humble is a really nice area. my bro took a job with shell and just moved there. i went out for the first time, way nice. had i known nineball was in that area i would have looked him up...and stole some cars. jk, much respect for his collection. anyway, humble kicks ***. san antonio area is the best tho, but you dont want a 4 hour commute. lol
