Congrats to G-Force and Mr. Calhoun They were the winners in Ultimate street Saturday at HRP. I'm not sure of the Time Ben or Mikie can Let ius have the details.

Thanks Mike! This is only our second race with this car since we've finished it and in our first race we made the Semi's so we're definately on the right track.
First round of qualifying the track was a blazing 140* so I took some power out of the MSD box just to get us down the track. We had a little driver error on the starting line that cost us some ET and ended up running a 5.58.
Second round of qualifying the track temp was the same but I put a bit more power into it on the starting line and the car really responded with a 5.49 which was good for the number 4 spot in a 16 car field.
First round of eliminations we had Greg Eaton who generally runs a bit quicker than 5.49 but hadn't made it down the track yet that day. By the time first round of eliminations rolled around the sun was back behind the bleachers and the track temp had dropped to close to 95* so I stepped it up even more and we went a 5.448 @ 129.74 and got the win light after Greg had to pedal.
Second round of eliminations we really had to be on our game. The guy in the other lane had just run a .43 in first round so we had to be ready. We got a little head start on the line and ran a .43 to his .44 putting us into the semi's.
In the semi's we had a guy that had qualified really low and had been having problems making power but the people he raced in the first two rounds had spun the tires and let him advance. We left the tune-up the same and went another 5.45 in the right lane.
We didn't have lane choice into the final round but I knew the other guy would choose the right lane which was fine with us since we had been a bit quicker in the left lane. In the final round Chris got a huge starting line advantage with his .009 light and ran a 5.428 to John's 5.398 and .081 light.
It was a long hot day and we still have plenty of power to put to it on the starting line. I didn't want to risk putting too much power to it in the final round so I left the race up to Chris and he got it done! In the upcoming weeks we'll see what she'll take on the starting line to see if we can't get into the .30's with the power we've got now. We were able to go some 1.24 and 1.23 60's this weekend but I'm pretty confident we will see 1.20's in the next few outings to the track.
Also thanks to the LMR and Strictley Performance guys for sticking around to watch our final round race. It was neat to turn around and see close to 40 people celebrating with us.
I'll post up some pictures and videos of the races as I find them and get them onto the computer!

Great times and very consistant improvements. all I can say is G-Force is looking to be a major player.. Congrats to a deserving bunch of guys. Now about that discount on my G-force sponsored Brake Package.

Thanks guys for everything. I could not do it with out the help of G-Force. It was indeed a very long hot day. Ben on the laptop with his flawless tunes and Mike in the pits caused us to go rounds. Special thanks to everyone that helped us during that blistering day. Hopefully we can do the same in Evadale.
