We all have different sized check books, the cheapo's work just fine. However, some 14" Brembos look killer on a 8 second drag car. My car is pretty much retired. I believe the man next door is going to keep the ultra street car supra dream alive. He has a much bigger wallet than me. Now, he can drive his own damn car. He told me he wants to a 8.20's and run 240mph in the mile. The car should 300-400lbs lighter than mine.
He never ceases to amaze me with his cars. 240mph would be insane!

I noticed this forums has a dyno section and seems pretty popular. I just feel that most of you think a supra is not worthy. My car is a full-weight street car. It has stock seats, the back seat, stereo system, stock suspension, stock rear end, stock gearing, stock axles, power steering, and working ABS. The car will dyno +1500whp, run a 8.4 in the quarter, and blast 230mph in the standing mile.

It must be pretty easy in a Supra though with all those stock parts yall leave on it. Sounds like it needs a bigger turbo, better fuel system and race gas and you have 1XXXrwhp.

i'm actually getting worn out from racing all these years..my car has gotten to a level to where i'm compteting with shop cars..i dont own a shop and has nothing to prove or sell..so im slowly getting out of the scene...im just here supporting my fellow supra owners and talk **** with my LS1 people!!
Duy, u dont have to prove anything. Alot of people feel they do and start out that way but its nice when you get to the point where you realize what you have to prove and what you dont

Dont get out of it for that reason. Thats silly. Do what you enjoy. You dont have to race every race and travel the country. It CAN be a hobby..well an expensive one haha!

yeah i rather spend my time at the clubs now..i spent alot of years in school, then a bunch more years at the tracks and on the streets...now im in the drinking and partying mode..even though it costs alot, its still cheaper than then keeping up with 2 fast cars....
So Bond this this thursday??

This reminds me of when we got called out by Boost Logic a couple years ago. It too was a Clash of the titans race. At that one we were #1 QUALIFIER off the trailor and went on to win the event. I think the POOPRA broke first pass. Oh and my driver "WormBoy" stuck it to them on the tree.
I remember that. I have a pic I took on that run. not the best but you can tell Steven got the supra on the tree!
Hus t look at the back tires on each car and you can tell what car is standing still.
