Man that's lucky. That happened to a guy I worked with once, found it around the corner empty. Ask her to check what station the stereo is set on when she recovers it. And tell her to get full coverage.

Finnally a better ending to a stolen story.

Wow - she got LUCKY!! Glad to hear that she got it back - I HATE theives.

We are over on the Northwest side of Houston and we keep hearing that Hwy 290 is the strip for car thieves. My husbands Chevrolet 2500HD was almost stolen from the Home Depot on 290 & Fairbanks. The cops told us the area on 290 between Hollister and out to FM1960 is really bad.

Keep the doors locked and the tanks empty!:

I'll put $100 down that they come back for it. Tell her to get a kill switch as previously suggested (and full coverage).

Default Thats awesome!!!!!!!

2ND the full coverage, its definitely worth it, great that she got it back, but what sucks is they will more than likely try it again. Nice ending for once. When they stole my camaro I wasnt so lucky.

i dont think a wrecker took this car because she parks in a very tight spot between a fence and brick wall.

Kill switch works ! some stupid ******* tried to steal my cousin 02 cobra ( I know !!!) But this car is fast bult keith craft 408 with a 200 shot!. In short the punks by pass the alarm and tried to start it but it has a fuel cut and starter cut and a breaker switch for the battery. But the kicker was my rotts where barking real bad I told them to shut up but my oldest was **** and biting ate the gate and when I walk over there thats when I seen them. So I ran in the house and told my cousin he grab the shot gun. We both went out the front door and the clowns dident even see us, but my trigger happy cousin started shooting and cussing the ******* got away but there where tryin hard. We found jumper cables under the hood but the battery is in the trunk! And the dash was rip out.

Yeup! You can Shootem' on the spot just as long as they are on your property. A cop told me once..."if you get em' and he dies off the property...drag him back, then call the cops."
