houston WS6 stolen
sister-n-laws 2002 WS6 was taken out of her driveway off of lake houston parkway in atascotia last night. White WS6 that is very stock looking. stock wheels and all. has a mild exhaust system on it...
theres a white newyork yankee sticker in the top center of the back window. there is some black scuff marks on the front bumper that can be seen from a good distance.
ill try and get a license plate number soon ** plate # = NO5-ZDC

Sorry to hear that. I remember the feeling I had when my 2000 T/A was stolen. Still wonder where that thing is!
Good luck finding it. Note - mine was also parked in the driveway. I think that car thieves look for cars parked in the driveway and then just come by at night and hook it to a tow truck. Pretty sure that's how they got mine. Now I always park in the garage!!

Great Looking car....I know you're nowhere near me, but for all we know, they could've headed this way. I'll keep an eye open for it. It'd be dumb for them to stay in the area with such a recognizable car. How much does Lo-Jack cost? Anyone know?

low jack wouldnt be a bad idea. cars and bikes are coming up missing left and right in the last two months around here. just in my apts a guy had his truck stolen, and another guy had his 4 wheeler taken from his garage. they just kicked in a wall and walked on into his garage!
i dont think a wrecker took this car because she parks in a very tight spot between a fence and brick wall.

Lo-Jack doesn't work if a thief knows what he is doing. Google search "GPS Jammer" and you will find simple $20 devices that plug into a cigarette lighter that can jam cell phones and GPS related equipment like Lo-Jack. Also, if they park the car indoors after they steal it, Lo-Jack doesn't work anymore.
Best bet is still multiple kill switches. Fuel pump, starter, etc.. disabled.
For an LS1, just pop the hood and unplug the two main coil pack harness plugs that feed all eight coil packs. No spark = no steal....unless it gets towed.

i think that's how they're getting them nowadays is towing them. i don't know how hard it is to get around VATS, but i would think it would at least take a while. if they tow it, your only hope would be some sort of GPS. that, and good full coverage insurance
