I have been relocated to Amarillo with my job, and I hav a few questions about my upcoming move.

I have a 2002 WS.6 with only a lid and a cutout on it. I also have 15% tint on all 3 of my windows and 35% on the windshield. What can I expect for the inspection process? I currently live where no vehicle inspection is necessary. My windows I assume are very illegal. Are there any tint friendly inspections around AMA? Are the local LEOs very strict about window tint? And will I be all right with just a lid and cutout inspection wise? I will make any changes necessary

Any info from the locals will be greatly appreciated.

Amarillo just has the basic safety inspection (lights, horn, etc). You should be fine.

If you can't get a place in Amarillo to inspect it, go to one of the smaller towns around and they should pass it.

Its gonna be hard to pass ur tint any where near amarillo or the surrounding smaller towns...beleive me, im from a town about 30mins away and i used to get pulled over all the time in A-town, and wouldnt pass inspection anywhere in hereford....good thing i knew some people....Check out amarilloracers.com and u can ask people there.

windshield is def gonna have to go...when you go and get it inspected just leave the front windows down.
