Default negative trader rating from a jackass

First of all - here is a link to the FS thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...935&highlight=

so this guy gives me negative feedback... here's what happened: I put up my old headers for sale on 5/21, camaro-Keen buys them from me a few days later. This guy "N21923" paypals me 10 days after I listed the item for sale before checking with me to see if they were even still for sale. He did post in the thread asking whether or not they were still for sale but I did not check the thread after I sold them. He did not pm me either as I look to see if I have a pm EVERY time I get on here. Anyway, he is claiming that I "sold the same item twice". he never "gave" me money for free nor did I "sell the same item twice".

He paypal'd me the $ on the 31st and I refunded the $ to him after the hold he requested paypal put on the transaction was lifted.

Am I in the wrong? Maybe I should have posted that they were sold but I believe he should have checked with me prior to even sending me the $ to insure that they were still up for sale.

A paypal address is not suppose to be posted on a sale forum for everyone to see. That means 10 different people could buy the same item. Since you knew you posted your paypal address, why wouldn't you check your paypal everyday to make sure no one sent a payment? Im not bashing just curious?

My thinking is, if someone wants to buy something I have for sale, why would they just send money to my paypal account without getting some sort of verification from me that the item is still for sale? The "buyer" posted in a thread that the seller obviously didn't respond to, so he just decides, "Well, I'll go ahead and send him money, that way he HAS to sell it to me!"???!?!

i don't feel the negative feedback is fair and i don't think i should be penalized since his money WAS refunded and i had no intention of trying to "sell the item twice".. c'mon now. over $150? please...

Your a SCAMMER.

Seriously why would anybody send 150 bucks paypal without confirmation they were buying the item. The buyer is an idiot. i think the feed back should be removed. I think you can leave a comment on the feed back. Maybe a link to this thread. I would feel comfortable buying from you, after reading this.

Another scammer hunt starting?

I would never send money with out some sort of reply from the seller. That is just asking for trouble. But by you posting your account it could have suggested that the first person to put the money "in the account" gets dibs. Yeah I know it's stupid, but so are some people.

I don't think you were in the wrong, you refunded the money, just don't put your account info up anymore I guess.

The buyer certainly jumped the gun a little and is now acting childish, but you have to admit posting your paypal wasn't the smartest thing to do. There is always someone out there that doesnt think and then you get screwed.
