Good Evening Everybody,
I just had a sweet offer for me to go back to an old trade I did a few years ago but at a different level than where I was at. I was a machinist trainee before being promoted to the Beaumont area on another one of my jobs (I held 3 jobs at that time). An interesting individual walked into my place of business today and offered for me to train on a CNC machinary and I could not let that pass up since things are a little slow in the business. What I am asking from anybody in the immediate Houston area is if they have any microns, calipers, dials etc that they can sell, let me borrow (I would sign a note with you) so that I can begin where I left off at. I appreciate any leads, helps or prayers.
Thank You.

well just start out small then accumulate all your tools slowly. dont wanna go out spending big money on expensive mic's calipers and bore gauges not knowing if its something you wanna do for any extended period of time. if you need any insight on g-code programming or pro tips on the cnc stuff let me know. used to do that a long long time ago and never went back to it!!
good career if you find a shop you like working at. oh and if you dont mind me asking . how good of a offer was it and so on . lil bros looking for work and im helping with his search

I'll see you around in a meet sometime and ask you more about the CNC part since they are even willing to train me on that. Yes, I know it involves a lot of math.
